The year 2023 was an overall success for Finn Lamex, measured by various metrics. Our turnover and results achieved record-breaking levels, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Even in the face of challenges, our production exceeded expectations and original goals, and we are particularly pleased with our team’s success.
The most significant change in 2023 was the departure of the old fund owners from Finn Lamex and the entry of Beijer Alma as the new majority owner. This change signifies not only strong financial support but also strategic insights that will help us grow and become a stronger player in the market. This shift provides us with the opportunity to invest even more in innovations and the development of our company.
New investments to boost capacity
Alongside our success, we faced challenges in 2023, primarily focusing on a large order backlog and extended delivery times. We addressed the situation proactively with our customers, finding the best solutions together. We aim to continue improving the efficiency of our deliveries in the future and better meet the needs of our customers.
One of our most significant development measures has been the investment in a new bending furnace from Glaston Oyj. This investment is part of our long-term strategy to ensure sufficient production capacity in the future. The new bending furnace is designed to be in full production by the beginning of 2025. We have also started increasing production shifts this year to respond to growing demand, improve production efficiency, and enable a more flexible response to our customers’ needs. We believe these additional production shifts will create a stronger foundation for future growth.

We approach the year 2024 with confidence
Our order backlog remains very strong in 2024, but unfortunately, our delivery times have once again extended due to increased demand. Nevertheless, we are committed to doing everything possible to ensure our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible. The changes and expansions in production facilities planned for this year are significant steps toward greater capacity and improved customer interactions in the future.
